GOLDEN KNIGHTS FAIL TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

The Golden Knights finished the 2020-2021 season with a 41-37-3 record for 85 points and failed to qualify for the playoffs finishing 5 points out of the playoffs. William Karlsson finished the season with 57 points (29 G, 28 A) leading the team. Unfortunately I have been fired by the owner of the Golden Knights for not making the playoffs and so at this time this is the end of my reports on the Golden Knights. October 22, 2020 The Golden Knights returned home to Vegas to take on the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes with their new acquisitions of goalie Brian Elliot and Chris Krijder were ready to go as the puck was about to drop at T-Mobile. October 18, 2020 The Golden Knights headed out east to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins who are the 2019-2020 Stanley Cup Champions. It was Marc Andre Fleury returning home against his former team that he won 3 Stanley Cups with against Matt Murray who was the Conn Smythe Trophy winner from last season as the NHL Playoff MVP and Stanley Cup Champion. The Blackhawks made a trade in the off season with the Islanders trading Corey Crawford to the Islanders for Jaroslav Halak. The Golden Knights opened the scoring in the first period when Jonathan Marchessault scored at 4:33 of the period from Pacioretty and Karlsson to make it 1-0 Vegas.
